Abstract
The purpose of this research considered reasonable levels and intake methods of caffeine in heat environments during exercise with maintaining hydration state and improve the exercise ability. Through researches and insights precedence over, provide appropriate guidance to players who trying to use caffeine. Methods: Literatures review from 1987 to 2007 are related to the caffeine ingestion on sweat rate, urinay output, body temperature regulation. Results: 195-553 ㎎ of caffeine ingestion did not increased sweat rate, 45-226 ㎎ of caffeine ingestion did not increased urinary output. 195-565 ㎎ caffeine ingestion before exercise in the heat environment did not rising Tre, Tsk, Tty. Chronic intake 3 ㎎/㎏ of caffeine improved the exercise endurance time rather than acute. Conclusion : When players who trying to training or competition, avoid acute caffeine ingestion and appropriate doses level is 3 ㎎/㎏.
