Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation of a storage battery performance testing system (SBPTS) controlled with an 8098 chip microcomputer. The SBPTS is composed of three units: charge unit; discharge unit; and microcomputer control unit. The 8098 chip microcomputer used in this system shows its high integration and good ability including A/D and D/A conversions, data processing, output control and disturbances rejection, etc.>
