Abstract
By NCⅡ mating design,four key domestic temperate maize inbred lines Mo17,Dan340,Huangzaosi and Ye478 were used as tester to cross with 24 Quality Protein Maize(QPM) inbred lines.Based on the yield combining ability and heterosis of those crosses,the results indicated that Qi205 had the highest yield general combining ability(GCA),followed by Pozarica8761.Combinations of CA307 × Dan340 and Si204-2zaoshu × Huangzaosi had the highest special yield combining ability(SCA).The lines Qi205 had the greatest relative heterosis with Dan340,the second was H152-1-2×Dan340.Lines CML171,Qi205,Zhongxi096/o2 and CML170 showed closer genetic relationship with Lancaster germplasm,so did lines CML165,CML161,CML166,Si204-2Zaoshu,Xinzi330/o2-2,Chang631/o2-1,Xin9101-1/o2,ZPL108/o2-7-2 and Xinzi401/o2 with Luda Red Cob group,CML172-1-2-2,Pozarica8761,CA10139,H152-1-2,8129 and Xin9102-4/o2 with Sipingtou germplasm and Si204-1-1,CML163,CA307,Chang709/o2 and 8065QPM with Reid germplasm.
