Abstract

In order to increase the power and thermal efficiency of a nuclear power plant, the turbine is fed with superheated steam instead of saturated steam. The superheating of the steam produced by the reactor is performed by a device using conventional fuel, e.g., coal or oil. The plant is provided with means which give it the usual structure of a steam generator so that it may function as such in the event of cessation of saturated steam production by the reactor. (NPO)
