Abstract

Abstract With the Michigan basin having long been recognized as a classic area for the study of evaporite deposits, most of the papers included in this volume were presented at a 1975 meeting focusing on the Michigan basin. Topics covered include: Depositional environments of pinnacle reefs in the northern shelf of the Michigan basin; Sedimentology and depositional environments of basin-center evaporites; depositional environment in southeastern Michagan; An evaporitic lithofacies continuum; and Reefs and evaporites—a summary.
