Abstract

Novel mixed catalysts systems have been developed using a platinum tetraammine complex with a cobalt or nickel quinolyldiamine complex supported on graphite powder and heart treated at 600 degrees C in argon atmosphere, for the methanol oxidation reaction in direct methanol fuel cells.
