Abstract
The article presents comparative analysis of modern methods of production of isoprene from isobutylene and formaldehyde: a two-step process of isoprene from isobutylene and formaldehyde, a one-step process of isoprene from isobutylene and formaldehyde in the gas phase on the heterogeneous catalyst, method of isoprene, which comprises reacting formaldehyde with isobutylene in the gas phase in the presence solid catalyst containing heteropolyacids. Stages of the process of decomposition of 4,4-dimethyl-1, 3 to isoprene.
