Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the diachronic change of Korean pronouns. The study surveys the developmental aspects of Korean pronouns from the ancient language to the modern language. It also analyzes some characteristics of each personal pronoun, reflexive pronoun and infinite pronoun. There has been some diachronic change in Korean pronouns. This change has resulted from efforts to indicate the speaker, the listener and the referred object precisely, as well as the relationship between them.
