Abstract

A public report resulting from a nine-month research project "Mapping Social Design" commissioned by the Arts and Humanities Research Council to map and analyse research and practice in the emerging field of social design. The report summarises current issues and opportunities, identifying a "social design moment" in the UK. It proposes ways to support and strengthen these developments and makes recommendations about addressing UK research needs.
