Abstract
Research objective: estimation of hepatic encephalopathy influence on life quality indexes of patients with cirrhosis in fate of chronic hepatitis C. Object and research methods. Cirrhosis single-step research of hepatic encephalopathy and life quality indexes is conducted among 183 patients in fate of chronic hepatitis C (98 men and 85 women; age 46 (37; 55) years). The degree of hepatic encephalopathy was defined by psychometric test of Rejtan numbers bond. During the studying of life quality the SF-36 questionnaire was used. Results. Quality of life worsens, and the hepatic encephalopathy amplifies at advance with functional class of virus cirrhosis. Hepatic encephalopathy influences on indicators of a «psychological component of health» (SF-36) at patients with virus cirrhosis of class B and C, р 0,05, wasn't established. Conclusion. One of the basic mechanisms of life quality depression of patients with virus cirrhosis consists in appreciable influence of hepatic encephalopathy among the given category of patients on «psychological component of health» (SF-36).
