Abstract

Abstract Triassic deposits in Svalbard rest unconformably on underlying Permian rocks. The Induan and Olenekian deposits of the Lower Triassic, Anisian and Ladinian of the Middle Triassic and Karnian and Norian of the Upper Triassic, which are fossiliferous, are discussed in terms of biostratigraphy.
