Abstract

UBC’s Geriatric Dentistry program works with medical teams in residential care and hospital settings to provide dental services to the geriatric population. The program promotes awareness of the impact of oral health on general health and advocates a holistic, team approach among healthcare professionals in caring for this vulnerable population.
