Abstract
A new C-21 steroidal glycoside named neocynaversicoside (Ⅰ) along with a known compound glaucoside-H was isolated from one of the plant species used as Bai-Wei in traditional Chinese medicine, Cynanchum versicolor Bunge, and its structure was deduced as neocynapanogenin 3-O-β-D-thevetopyranoside on the basis of chemical and spectral evidence.
