Abstract
The objective was to study the welfare impacts of Egyptian economic policy and to investigate the interaction between agriculture and the rest of the economy. A multisectoral, multiclass, general equilibrium model was used to evaluate the effects of changes in the terms of trade on the distribution of income and on patterns of consumption and savings. The model is described in detail and preliminary results of work in progress are presented.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
