Abstract

Abstract This chapter describes the structure of all components of Turkey's agribusiness cluster, which includes the upstream sectors (input industries and financial services) and downstream sectors (agrifood industries) as well as the primary agricultural sector. In addition, the structures of the wholesale and retail sector are presented. The chapter concludes with a section on how the linkages between farmers, processors, traders and retail can be characterized in Turkey.
