Abstract
A development model gas chromatographic separator is being designed and built for the Trace Gas Contamination Monitoring Assembly of COLUMBUS Man Tended Free Flyer MTFF. The analysis of atmospheric contaminations in the space module will be performed by a separator/analyzer system of a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer (GCMS). The gas chromatograph (GC) being developed at this stage is compact, lightweight, ruggedized and low power consuming. Furthermore, it operates fast, and the cool-down period (preparation for the next operation) is very short. The COLUMBUS GC can also easily be connected to the mass spectrometer (MS), and its separation performance is very good for the GCMS analysis.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
