Experiments have demonstrated that evanescent modes (photonic tunneling) violate the relativistic causality. Detectors made click receiving a tunneled signal in advance to receiving the vacuum traveled one. The primitive causality claiming only that effect follows cause is not violated. It is shown that evanescent modes are near field phenomena. Apparently, this phenomenon represents the exception of the rule of relativistic causality.
