Abstract
Abstract : Literature describing the habitat preferences of the northern pike (Esox lucius Linnaeus) is reviewed, and the relationships between habitat variables and life requisites are synthesized into a Habitat Suitability Index (HSI) model. HSI models are designed for use with the Habitat Evaluation Procedures (HEP) in impact assessment and habitat management activities. p48
