Abstract
This paper is mainly about the method of the application of virtual reality in flight vehicle stage separation simulation and analysis. The virtual world structure for controlling the motion of the flight vehicle model is presented, and hereby a virtual world including the flight vehicle model and the scene model is built up. Based on Matlab and Simulink, a method for the integration of the virtual world with other application programs is offered. As a result, the integration of calculation, simulation and visualization for stage separation simulation and analysis is realized. Under the above established framework, based on the calculations of flow fields and separation motion, and the relative attitude and position between the two stages of the flight vehicle, the separation interference problem has been studied and the work can be used to aid the design of separation mechanism.
