Abstract
Summary: Introduction of an uniform digital system of designations of catalogues and surveys (lists) of star positions is proposed. The designations should comprise: 16 information groups with a total of 50 digits for observational catalogues and 10 groups with a total of 36 digits for other catalogues (derived, fundamental) and surveys of star positions.
