Abstract

Many factors degrade water quality from an irrigation standpoint. Various methods are currently used for evaluating quality of irrigation water. A new method of evaluating irrigation waters at six levels for five important quality factors is given with explanatory notes of the effect of each factor on soils and plants along with examples of classification of a number of surface and ground waters.
