Abstract
A new method has been developed which is easy to implement in existing moment method computer programs. It transforms the impedance matrix into a sparse matrix. The results are as good as or better than those achieved by wavelet methods. However, unlike wavelet methods the Simply Sparse method is simple to add to existing computer programs. It generates a sparse matrix which can be inverted with sparse direct methods, such as a sparse LU factorization.
