Abstract

Abstract This article describes how to implement service‐oriented architecture and Web services. Service‐oriented architecture promotes modularity of design and interoperability of software services interacting within a distributed system over the Internet. Web services allow clients to obtain information from, or have tasks performed by, service providers using XML data formats and standard Internet protocols.
