Abstract

This study investigated the relationship between organizational climate and job satisfaction among 150 supervisors in an automobile manufacturing organization.The organizational climate was measured with Halpin and Croft organizational climate descriptive questionnaire, which measures eight dimensions of organizational climate while job satisfaction was measured relevant to the work situation areas viz interpersonal relations, task-involved, self-realization, and opportunities for recognizable advancement.Results indicated that organizational climate had varying impacts on different types of satisfaction.
