Abstract

Chemostat system is used to describe the mathematical model of microbial continuous cultivation process in the laboratory,it is a simplified model of lakes, oceans, etc.The two species competition system with proportional rate is studied in this article, and the global stability of the equilibrium points are proved by studying . When the growth rate is proportional growth function, and consumption rate is a constant, the competitive exclusion principle still holds, which has important guiding significance for the cultivation of microorganisms. In the end, the correctness of the above conclusion is further proved by Matlab simulation experiment, when the parameters change within a certain range.
