Abstract

Cell charge imbalance is a very common issue in the battery system, which can cause efficiency and even safety problems. To solve this issue, many types of battery charge equalizers have been designed. In this extended abstract, we will focus on the analysis of charge transfer and energy transfer in the battery charge equalization process. These analysis results can help evaluate equalization performance and design efficient equalization system.
