Abstract

It is argued that the emission-line spectrum of the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) nebula N82 with embedded star(s) probably does not contain a WC9 spectrum, as claimed previously. A WNL or Of type spectrum appears more likely. Thus, the low WC content of the LMC remains as before : completely dominated by WCE stars
