Abstract
Efficacy of acephate, trlazophos, cypermethrln, alphamethrln, and blfenthrln was evaluated against Okra pests viz., aphids, Aphidsgossypii G., jasslds, Amrasca biguttula biguttula (Ishida), and fruit borer Earias viJtella F. Acephate (0.1 and 0.15%) and trlazophos (0.1%) were effective against aphids and leafhoppers while the synthetic pyrethrolds; alphamethrln (0.006%), blfenthrln (0.005%), and cypermetbrln (0.006%) were effective against the fruit borer. The residues of acepbate, trlazopbos, and cypermetbrln In/on Okra fruits were reduced below detectable levels by 20,15, and 10 days after spraying, respectively.
