Abstract
Chapter 5, on the negative binomial distribution, similarly has the former format and content. A new subsection describes recent inference and estimation developments. New material on the extended negative binomial distribution is included. There are also new subsections on the minimum and maximum negative binomial distributions, on the condensed negative binomial distribution, and on other new related distributions.
