Abstract
Semileptonic B meson decays have been studied using the ARGUS detector at DORIS II. The branching ratio for the decay B̄0→D*+l−ν̄ has been measured. A significant rate for the decay B̄→D**l−ν̄ has been observed. From an angular analysis of the cascade B̄0→D*+(→D0π+)l+ν̄, the forward‐backward asymmetry AFB and the D*+ polarization parameter α have been determined. The decay B̄0→D*+l−ν̄ have been also measured with partial reconstruction of the D*+ meson, and for the first time the inclusive primary electron spectrum in the whole momentum interval has been analyzed.
