Abstract
The influence of some cations and anions on the precipitate composition formed by the reaction of uranyl and errocyanide ions was studied by the amperometric titration method. It was shown that NH/sup +//sub 4/, Na/sup +/, Mg/ sup 2+/, Al/sup 3+/, Cr/sup 3+/, Ce/sup 3+/, VO/sup -//sub 3/, CrO/sup -//sub 4/, and Cl/sup -/ do not change the composition of uranyl ferrocyanide and do not interfere with the titration. Zn/sup 2+/, Cu/sup 2+/, Ni/sup 2+/, Pb/sup 2+/, Fe/ sup 3+/, Th/sup 4+/, MoO/sup 2-//sub 4/, PO/sup 3-//sub 4/ , and SO/sup 2-//sub 4/ ions interfere forming, in some cases, more complicated compounds.
