Abstract

This is the first of a series of three papers which report the results of a study of public transport demand along the catchment areas of the Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR) in Hong Kong. The study was completed in-house in the Transport Department, Hong Kong, using transport modelling techniques on a 64K microcomputer and the MVA Systematica Micro-RIPS suite.
