In recent years both MIS Quarterly (1999) and Information Resources Management Journal (1998) have carried several articles pertaining to the issue of research relevance.The ISWorld mailing list, comprising of more than 2000 IS academics from around the world, has generated interesting discussions on this issue in the past.
