Abstract
Abstract The result of this work, connected with the present knowledge of the structures of the rare earth complexon chelates leads to the conclusion that contrary to the best results in the separation of bivalent metal ions already known, the separation of neighbouring rare earth ions on IDE chelating resin by diluted mineral acid appears to be impossible.
