Abstract

Tritium in precipitation and in the free hydrogen of air in France was measured since November 1958. These contents were, in spring of 1960, about I50 tritium units in rain and about 4 x 105 tritium units in free hydrogen. Results were obtained by liquid scintillation counting with a preliminary electrolytic enrichment for the samples of lower tritium contents. (P.C.H.)
