Abstract The photospheric longitudinal magnetograms of a coronal hole are used to study the small-scale magnetic fields in the coronal hole. The research is concentrated on the characteristics of the network and the ephemeral region fields, and the results are compared with those in the ordinary quiet regions with mixed magnetic polarities.
