Abstract
Based on the first new edition of Edward Lear's verse to have appeared since 1947, The Complete Nonsense and Other Verse includes such classics as The Owl and the Pussycat, The Jumblies, The Dong with a Luminous Nose, hundreds of limericks and a vast selection of other verse. Lear's magical illustrations are reproduced throughout, as are severeal poems that have never previously been published.
