Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of adding cow dung (KS) in the process of composting organic waste is aerobically and effectively determine the composition of the mixture is needed in the composting process than without the addition of bioactivator with variations of aeration. Material of yard waste that composted is24 Kg (SK), while the materials are added to the cow dung (KS) with a variation of 2.20 Kg: 5.49 Kg: 8.23 kg compared with no addition of a mixture (bioactivator) as well as variations in aeration, namely conventional and air injection aeration. Composting yard waste to the recommended optimum cow manure according the criteria of the SNI :19- 7030-2004 to conventional methods with addition of 5.49 kg of KS contains 28.02% C; 2.62% N; 0.577% P; 2.14% K, and the ratio C/N 11, whereas injection with the addition of aeration to 8.23 Kg KS containing 26.91% C; 2.18% N; 0.526% P; 2.05% K, and the ratio C/N 12.
