Abstract

In this paper, local and global intermittency are introduced in phase‐locked loops by theory, computer simulation and experiments. Here, the local intermittency means the Pomeau and Manneville Type I intermittency and the global intermittency means the crisis‐induced intermittency due to I‐D chain. The experimental results agree at least qualitatively with computer simulation results of the model equation.
