Abstract Two new leaf-spot fungi, Septoria pulcherrima on Eucalyptus nitens and Trimmatostroma bifarium on E. regnans are described. S. pulcherrima produces characteristic bright cannine spots on leaves and has conidia measuring 30–60 × 3–4 μ-m with an obtuse apex and a truncate base. T. bifarium is characterised by its conidia (measuring 12–24 × 6–14 μ-m) with 2, parallel and discrete to laterally fused, rows of cells (3–5 cells per row) arising from a common, thickened base.
