Abstract

The author examines the market and technical forces that are driving ISDN (integrated services digital network), addresses current and future applications, and provides a summary of an actual ISDN rollout. Cost reductions with the ISDN are assessed, and attention is given to ISDN voice and data features. Results of an analysis of the usage of the subscribed ISDN features are summarized.>
