Abstract

This short essay was solicited by the Melbourne Journal of International Law to mark the tenth anniversary of that journal. It reflects upon the past decade of developments in international legal theory, both within the Melbourne Journal of International Law and beyond, and sketches some possible directions for theoretical inquiries in international law in the future.
