Surgical treatment of syndactilia and our results

Abstract Between the years 1992 - 1996, 16 patients with 33 syndactyly webs had undergone surgery at our institution. The digits seperated by multiple zig-zag incisions. For web reconstruction, Bauer s dorsal rectanguler flap is used. Mean follow-up period was 15,3 months for these cases. There were no neurologic and vascular complications . The cases showed no recurrence and all of the cases had good functional and cosmetical results. Özet Kliniğimizde 1992 - 1996 tarihleri arasında 16 çocuktaki 33 webdeki sindaktiliye cerrahi tedavi uygu-lanmıştır. Tüm olgularda parmak ayrıştırılmasında multiple Z insizyonları ve web aralığı rekonstrüksiyonunda Bauer in tekniği kullanılmıştır. Olguların ortalama takip süreleri 15,3 aydır. Hiç bir olguda damar-sinir komplikasyonu gelişmedi. Olgularımızda rekürrens izlenmedi ve iyi fonksiyonel ve kozmetik sonuçlar elde edildi.
