Abstract

Clustering algorithm plays a vital role in organizing large amount of information into small number of clusters which provides some meaningful information. Clustering is a process of categorizing set of objects into groups called clusters. Hierarchical clustering is a method of cluster analysis which is used to build hierarchy of clusters. This paper focuses on hierarchical agglomerative clustering. In this paper, we also explain some agglomerative algorithms and their comparison.
