Abstract
Compared with conventional low earth orbit (LEO) synthetic aperture radar (SAR), geosynchronous SAR (GEOSAR) has the advantages of wider covered area and shorter revisit time, which have received much attention. In this paper, the performances of GEOSAR interferometry versus the main parameters of interest, including absolute and relative height accuracy, are analyzed in detail based on curved earth geometry. Compared to the systems reported in the literatures based on flat earth model, the errors are shown to be effectively corrected. The presented method is not only suitable for GEOSAR system, but also provides feasible solution for conventional SAR interferometry systems.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
