Abstract

This book provides an overview of XML and some of its possible applications in libraries. It examines the similarities and differences between XML, HTML, and SGML. It discusses the various components of the markup language, the structure of an XML document, the different types of style sheets, and XML's linking and pointing components. It includes a glossary and bibliography.
