The 1987 environmental surveillance report for the EGandG Idaho, Inc., radioactive waste management areas at the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory describes environmental monitoring activities at the Radioactive Waste Management Complex, the Waste Experimental Reduction Facility, the Radioactive Mixed Waste Storage Facility, the Process Experimental Pilot Plant, and two surplus facilities. The purposes of these monitoring activities are to provide for evaluation and awareness of environmental conditions resulting from current operations, to detect significant trends, and to project possible future conditions.
