Abstract

Among ten medicinal plants, chloroform methanol extracts obtained from Andrographis panniculata showed most inhibitory followed by Melia azedarach extracts. Likewise in terms of larval mortality also A. panniculata oil. extract was observed most inhibitory followed by oil extracts of M. azedarach. Larval mortality was directly proportional with exposure period and concentration of extracts whereas egg hatching was inversely with concentration of extracts and directly with exposure period and concentration of extracts whereas egg hatching was inversely with concentration of ectracts and directly with exposure peirod.
