Abstract
Reid investigations were carried out during summer and kharif, 1996 to evolve suitable weed management techniques for irrigated soybean. Among the different weed control methods, application of fluchloralin @ 1.5 kg ha−1 with one hand weeding at 30 days after sowing proved higher weed control efficiency of 96.24 and 96.73 per cent to the maximum extent and it reduced the weed density and weed biomass in summer and kharif season, respectively. Better weed control paved for improvement in growth attributes viz., plant height, leaf area index and dry matter production and seed yield (1635.98 and 1648.57 kg ha−1).
