Abstract

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of incorporation of mahua cake in the broiler chicks ration at 5, 10 and 15 per cent levels replacing whole concentrate diets. The experimental chicks were fed caloric and isoproteinic diets. The feed intake, dry matter digestibility, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, performance index and protein efficiency ratio were significantly (P<0.05) higher in control group as compared to 5, 10 and 15 per cent mahua cake fed groups and no difference of these parameters were observed between 5 and 10 per cent mahua cake fed groups.
